Stan Lewis, a retired St. Cloud State University professor who taught for 40 years, will examine the history of photography, including tin types and cabinet cards. He also will discuss the work and stories of early St. Cloud Photographers Nancy Allen Farwell, Margaret Brennan Lauermann, and Joseph and Eugene Hill.

Presenter: Dan Schroeder  Dan has been an active member of St. Cloud Area Genealogists and the Stearns History Museum since 1981. He is a board member of St Cloud Area Genealogists. Learn how to use dates and locations to create a family timeline, that will help you spot inconsistencies and errors in the search results you get. Especially in Ancestry Public Trees and Find-A-Grave. Join us to learn to use these sources wisely and develop successful research habits.
