The Stearns History Museum offers a broad range of programs for families, adults, and children. We offer speaker programs that inform and entertain adults with history, current issues, and entertaining stories.  The Granite City Book Club features books about Minnesota and/or by Minnesota authors.  Minnesota wines are served compliments of Westside Liquor.

Stearns County has over 400 farms designated Century Farms.  These farms have been in one family for over 100 years.  Apply in the Research Center.

The St. Cloud Area Genealogists meet monthly to discuss and share the journey into the path of family research.  The Spring and Fall bus tour, organized by the Research Center Director, visits MN communities and businesses.

Family programs like Halloween Historia in October and KringleFest in December offer fun activities for the entire family. Look for camps for kids and activities for Grandparents and children throughout the summer.

Stearns County has many world renowned authors.  Pictured left is Nobel Prize winning author Sinclair Lewis from Sauk Centre, MN. Lewis wrote about small town life.
