Creating a Family Heritage Photo Album with Michele Braun-Heurung. 
Braun-Heurung will present her experiences gathering family photographs and placing ghem into a photo album to share with family members. Come and gather ideas to create your own album.

February 21
Bruce Skalbeck joined the St. Cloud Area Genealogists organization about 5 years ago and has agreed to tell as about the research he has done with his family. Bruce considers himself still a novice at genealogy so come prepared with helpful suggestions for him as he presents information. Dr. Skalbeck is a retired professor from St. Cloud State University.

A webinar or maybe two will be set up for your information and enlightenment. Just come at the usual time and get set to enjoy a little different program.

Tom Rice is a full-time genealogy researcher, lecturer, and writer. He has worked with records in the U.s., Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, and others. Tom is very involved and knowledgeable about the latest findings and technologies which affect genealogy searches. Come here him!

LIE that has gone on and on - just tell us about that in May! You can have 5 minutes. You might excite the crowd, stun the group, lie to us - whatever -it is the end of another successful year for genealogy!
Or
You could tell us about a family trait or skill or sport that you think is from your family. Are you all musically talented? Do you all walk the same way? Talk the same? You can have 5 minutes.
Ruthe Litke and Ruth Larson are your hosts. They like lighthearted programs. They also like chocolate.









Zapp Historian Award Recipient in 2015 is St. Cloud Area Genealogists, Inc.
The group was organized in 1973. Its members are interested in family history. Programs include tours of historical centers and archives, lectures, and workshop with advice an assistance available to everyone engaged in genealogy. They not only work on their own projects but also have done invaluable work for researchers far and wide. The award is being presented by Gretchen Leisen, niece of Edward Zapp, Sr. and cousin of Edward Zapp for whom the award is named after. She is also a founding member of SCAG.
